Greene County is in an extreme cold warning through Friday at 12 pm. The National Weather Service will downgrade the warning to a cold weather advisory at that time.
The coldest conditions will come late Thursday night into Friday morning. Minimum wind chills are predicted of -23 degrees in Carroll Friday at 12 am. Wind chill predictions are -31 at 3 am, -34 at 6 am, and -32 at 9 am. Wind chill forecasts through Sunday at 9 pm remain below 0 degrees.
